Weatherford TX Dentist

Meet Dr. Fred Potter
I have been practicing dentistry in Weatherford since graduating in 1983. I have loved every day of the almost 30 years that I have practiced as a dentist, and I could not imagine doing anything else. From my staff to the great patients, I am constantly finding new things to be thankful for. Dentistry allows me to be creative as I help my patients achieve beautiful smiles. I also love the detective work it requires to accurately diagnose problems and plan efficient treatments. All of the people in our practice add to my life, and I am honored to be part of their lives.

In the Office
I love creating beautiful smiles while relieving pain and comforting my most anxious patients. I am most alive when I'm treating people for headache and migraine pain as well as helping others achieve the most brilliant and healthy smiles of their lives. I feel like I have been greatly blessed in my life, and giving back to others through my work is what keeps me so excited about dentistry. I believe my work is life-changing, and I strive to make a positive impact in each of my patients’ lives.
Our dental office serves patients from Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Aledo, TX and surrounding areas.
Outside the Office
I was born and raised on a dairy farm on the west side of Weatherford, TX. I have lived here for my whole life and happily settled down with my wife in the house I grew up in. We have two great dogs and 13 goats. I enjoy golfing, watching sports, and spending time with my family in my free time. I also volunteer at Central Christian Church and with Give a Kid a Smile. I love Weatherford and am proud to do what I can to contribute to its community.
